Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Twig application and SMS check-in service operated by Bedrock & Branch Counseling ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using Twig, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Twig is a recovery support application that delivers scheduled SMS check-in messages to help users identify and name their emotional states, recognize patterns that may lead to unwanted behaviors, and stay connected to their recovery plan. Twig is designed to be used alongside — not in place of — professional therapy, counseling, or other clinical care.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Twig. By using the service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Twig is intended for individuals who are voluntarily seeking recovery support tools and who understand the nature and limitations of the service.
By providing your mobile phone number during onboarding and completing the account setup process, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS messages from Twig at the phone number you provide. These messages include scheduled check-in prompts and automated follow-up responses based on your replies. Message frequency is determined by the check-in schedule you configure. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any Twig message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. You may re-enable SMS check-ins by updating your settings in the Twig app.

Twig allows you to designate support contacts who may receive SMS notifications when you indicate during a check-in that you are struggling. By adding a support contact, you represent and warrant that you have obtained that person's prior consent to receive SMS messages from Twig on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your support contacts understand they may receive such messages and how to opt out.
Twig is a recovery support tool, not a licensed clinical service, mental health treatment, or crisis intervention service. Nothing in the Twig application or its SMS messages constitutes medical advice, psychological treatment, or a therapeutic relationship. Twig is not monitored by a clinician in real time.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or a medical emergency, do not rely on Twig. Call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding, including a valid mobile phone number that you own and are authorized to use. You agree not to use Twig for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm other users, support contacts, or third parties. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Access to Twig's full SMS check-in service requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis as described at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
The Twig application, including its design, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Bedrock & Branch Counseling and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without our prior written consent.
Twig is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that SMS messages will be delivered at any specific time. Recovery outcomes are not guaranteed. Your use of Twig is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bedrock & Branch Counseling shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use Twig, including but not limited to any harm resulting from reliance on the service in a crisis situation. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app message. Continued use of Twig after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
